Presented by California Shakespeare Theater and Campo Santo+Intersection for the Arts, OAKLAND BEAT is the second community event organized for Hamlet: Blood in the Brain, the inaugural project of our New Works/New Communities initiative.
This ambitious community collaboration brings together people of diverse backgrounds in a grassroots process to create a new play, Hamlet: Blood in the Brain, by renowned playwright Naomi Iizuka.
